The video posted below contains portions of a press conference held by the Madison Federation of Teachers. Chris Kolker, the unions attorney, local union President Bobbie Dallas, teacher Dennis Coy and IFT spokesman Dave Comerford are featured. Two teachers in Madison School District No. 12 have filed a lawsuit against the district for defamation. Benny Boyer and Dennis Coy were accused of sexual harassment, but the administration has refused to provide any evidence to support this charge. Also discussed is the district’s waste of tens of thousands of dollars and 6 months fighting an Unfair Labor practice charge, only to cave in at the last minute. The district is also paying part time Superintendent Sandra Schroeder almost $90,000 for only 120 days of work. |
